if you aren't listening to cat power aka chan marshall...you are living a deprived life. i don't have enough hours in the day to talk about how much i love this woman's music. i have the title of one her albums "you are free" tattooed on my back. she is incomparable to anyone. if you listen, really listen to her songs, they'll leave you haunted. i'd recommend any and all of her catalog but here are some good songs to start with:

i have been been shoving sky down everyone's throats for a couple months now. at first, i wasn't too taken with her music but after countless listens i'm in love. i can easily say "one" is the best pop song of 2010. its so infectious, simple and easy (everything pop should be). sky also shares a penchant for boots, thigh high tights and vintage tees. fuck yes.
